She’s started saying Thankyou. It’s pretty amazing watching her pick up words. Her first word was “bbye” that was way back in a different age when she had just that word… now there’s a huge cacophony oof sounds and words and expressions…. “nahin” is her favorite… want to go for a drive “nahin, want to sit in your car seat “nahin”… want to eat “nahin”…. immediate, emphatic and a very assertively decisive “NO”…
the other day she wakes up at 4am and decides she’s done sleeping for the night… drags me around the house (I had just gone to sleep 15minutes back and probably my snuggling in next to her woke her up) but whatever the cause I had to put in another 4 hour long shift entertaining her. We watched lullaby times(baby Einstein), zoobi doobi(her fav music video), used crayons on a coloring book, read from her bed time stories book, inflated and burst some balloons, ate a banana, played with her blocks and stuffed toys…. then she decided she’d had enough of bonding with the old man and went and woke up mamma…. i slept till 1130
yesterday we got her portable potty. Tried it out by making her choose the one she’s comfortable with… when we were paying up and moving out madam insists she wants to sit in the potty and pushed around…. well I did the next best thing… made her sit in the potty and carried her around. We drove home with madam happily perched on the potty in the back seat. Pity the camera was in the car or else we would’ve got some real embarrassing pictures for her 18th birthday :))
